UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets ended Thursday’s trading session on a mixed note, with the benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) down by 22.98 points (0.67%) to 3,359.33 points.

The turnover reached AED 456.05 million through the trading of 150.63 million shares.

National Cement Company (NCC) was the top riser with 7.14%, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan headed the fallers with 8.19%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 18.45 million shares exchanged at AED 111.87 million.

On the other hand, the main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.741% at 9,786.36 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.49 billion through the exchange of 214.70 million shares, while the market cap stood at AED 2.08 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 429.70 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 74.85 million shares were exchanged.

Methaq Takaful Insurance Company advanced the gainers with 5.12%, whereas ADC Acquisition Corporation (ADC) led the decliners with 3.12%.
